Research is the heart of Dr. Ishrat-ul-Ebad Khan Research Institute. Research at the law school underpins the mission statement of the research Centre. We aim to provide a learning environment where scholars produce research of relevance, significance and importance in the context of Pakistan and other regions.

Our growing research team comprises a diverse and international group of academics from local and foreign universities. We will also encourage the participation of expert solicitors, judges and legal-practitioners to help support our student, researcher, and faculty through bringing distinctive achievements and knowledge in the field of law.

We plan to develop effective strategies for research collaboration, including, joint supervision, joint publications, dissemination and income generation through ongoing, high-quality communication within and beyond the university. We will strive to develop links with other academic institutions and to create impact beyond the academy. We will engage with policy makers and other users of our research to ensure our research is relevant.
